William (Bill –“El Gringo Malo”) Kulik is President of SBN and founded the company in 2001 in Boston. He has played every possible role within the organization, including broadcaster, producer, technician, salesman and developer of new business. Kulik expanded the company to include the Phillies in 2005, the Washington Nationals in 2008, the Oakland Athletics in 2009, and the Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2010. Since 2009, the Caribbean World Series has been part of the SBN family, and Kulik travels to the site of the Series with his broadcast crew to bring the games in Spanish to major cities throughout the United States. Kulik is bilingual, travels frequently to the Dominican Republic, and is know by listeners as “El Gringo Malo” in Boston and in Philadelphia, where he serves as Executive Producer.
Rickie Ricardo is in his 7th season with the Phillies broadcast crew. Ricardo is a radio veteran of 33 years in New York, Miami, Washington DC, Philadelphia and Music Choice television. The veteran music programmer and DJ shifted career gears to his first love of baseball in 2007 and has grown quickly within the baseball broadcast community. Richardo has received various awards, and is a member of the New York City Radio Hall of Fame. Ricardo hosts the “Acceso Total” pregame show as well as announces the play-by-play for the Phillies. Ricardo also provides engineering and technology duties for SBN Philadelphia.
Angel Castillo has been with SBN for six years. A native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he has worked as a sports anchor and daily news reporter for Latin Radio Group in Philadelphia. He has also done sports journalism work for Impacto Newspaper. Castillo started with SBN as a reporter and as part of the Philadelphia team advancing to be part of our Boston team as well.
Dean Lewin brings many years of experience in Radio/Sales and Marketing to the table. He joined Spanish Beisbol Productions in early January 2012. He has had one goal in mind, "Have fun and deliver a GREAT product.” Lewin heads Marketing and Sales to ensure you are getting the best possible product here at Spanish Beisbol Productions. Lewin also works on and manages our website and all IT efforts. He is the webmaster and writer, posting blogs and keeping things as up to date as possible.
